Bush, which has affected the collapse of the popularity of the government of Hugo Chavez. Indeed the questions that more directly affect the population seem to be those that are putting in jams a its management. It is that, as a result of the policy that is carrying out the chavista government, there are three factors that grow and closely are related: the inflation that stay in the order of 25%, the product shortage (mainly those basic foods), and a level of poverty in increase. But not only the economic questions are affecting the popularity of Chvez, since, according to the newspaper the Country in its digital edition, since Chvez arrived at the power, there per 1998, the rate of criminality in Venezuela has been tripled: the index of homicides was of 19 by each 100,000 inhabitants at that time and now it reaches the 49 by each 100,000 inhabitants, more of the double than in Mexico, a country where the rate of criminality also is lifted. As to have an idea than this level of criminality in Venezuela it means, according to the same newspaper that I mentioned previously, the number of homicides registered between 1998 and 2004 was of 90,000, a number that almost it triples number of died in the War of Afghanistan (2001-2006), and widely surpasses the losses produced in conflicts like the War of Chechenia (1991-1994) and the Persian Gulf War (1990-1992). The fear that has generated in the Venezuelans the increase in the wave of crimes is one of the main causes of the massive one I exile of Venezuelans, mainly towards the United States. But the high criminality in this country not only worries to the Venezuelans jointly the high insecurity with the inflationary problems and the instability (increasing), in the scope of the businesses are factors that are increasing the risk in Venezuela.
